Raw Juice Therapy: Hangover

If you consumed a little too much alcohol the night before, you'll most likely wake up with hangover symptoms like pounding headache, queasy stomach, dry throat, redness of the eyes..
Drink any citrus fruit juice or papaya juice or pineapple juice with honey added.
Never drink on an empty stomach. Starchy foods are best as they slow down alcohol absorption.
Avoid mixing drinks. When you mix your drinks, you're actually mixing different poisons of alcohol together thus putting great stress on the liver to cleanse and flush out toxins. Ethanol in alcohol has a dehydrating effect, it is good to take at least 500ml of water before retiring to bed.
A dose of vitamin B helps to replace nutrients lost while drinking. Banana is a good source and a natural antacid that relieve nausea.
